ICC ODI World Cup Warmup matches: Check out the full schedule, teams, venues and match start timings here.

The ICC Men’s ODI World Cup is nearly upon us – there’s just a week remaining before the tournament gets underway.

The opening match of the 2023 edition will see defending champions England take on New Zealand. This match is scheduled to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

India, currently the number 1 side in all three formats, will start their campaign on October 8 in Chennai against the five-time champions Australia.

It’s worth noting that India has not been able to win an ICC trophy since 2013, and hence will be keen to break this decade-long drought.

Before the main tournament starts, all ten participating teams will take part in two warm-up matches each. These warm-up fixtures will be spread across three venues in India, spanning September 29 to October 3.

India will take on England and the Netherlands in their two warm-up matches, which will be held in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram, respectively.
